Our Mission Statement

The Aikido International Foundation's purpose is to promote training in the art of Aikido, to foster quality, professional Aikido instruction, and insure the survival of Aikido for coming generations.

In other words, the AIF is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to:
  • Strengthen and preserve the successful transmission of Aikido to future generations
  • Become the premier coordinating body for the development and practice of Aikido worldwide
  • Promote Aikido to Aikido related and non-related individuals, groups and organizations in a non-discriminatory manner
  • Promote the principles of Aikido to local, national and international communities
